For a long time there has been a growing demand for information about environmental sustainability and the impact of packaging materials on the environment. The consumer, who is increasingly informed and aware of the importance of a responsible lifestyle, requires to understand not only the characteristics of the food product he takes, but also those of the packaging that houses it.

Located along the Tuscan coast, in the Bolgheri Controlled Designation of Origin, the Fornacelle farm was born at the end of the nineteenth century. The cultivated vines are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc for the production of red wines; Vermentino, Sémillon and Fiano for the whites. For the vinification modern and traditional techniques are used: from fermentation and maceration in steel at a controlled temperature, to vinification in closed or open barriques. The production, 40-45,000 bottles per year, is expressed through a classic Bolgheri line, the result of the careful work of discovering the potential of the Bolgherese terroir and its typical vines, and from an artistic collection where this attention to the various components of the producing wine was enriched by an experimental impetus and where the manual ability to work the land and grapes is associated with a creative vein.
